On the left side of this photo, you can see a white concrete wall. The far end of the wall is 71" high. The oldest victim of the attack was 71-year old John D. Yamnicky.
The Age Wall is just three inches high at the opposite end where the memorial for the youngest victim is located. It grows one inch in height, relative to the age line for each victim.
In the foreground, you can see stainless steel age lines that line up with the year of birth plaques that are placed in the brick bench that surrounds the Memorial. This bench can be seen in front of the Age Wall.
