The Shenandoah National Park advertises Dark Hollow Falls as the closest falls to Skyline Drive. It is fed by Hogcamp Branch, which drains the wetlands of Big Meadows.

Most visitors to Dark Hollow Falls never go beyond its base, but within an additional six hike minute, several more falls and cascades present themselves to those who are willing.
